Ok, I was thinking of buying a M-1 Garande in .308..

but I came across a very nice Winchester model 100 in .308,so I bought it.
It's almost a perfect match for my model 88,that is also a .308,but it has some Oak leaf and acorn carving added to the checkering on the stock.
I would like them to be the same,anybody know somebody who has a few of these stocks?

Try Numrich arms for the stock but that things been out of print for so long I seriously doubt you'll ever find one. The 100 is a fine gun, I've had several, good accuracy, but on two of the 308s I had trouble with cartridge extraction after the shot. Not every time and not predictable. Also the magazines are very rare and expensive when you do find one.
