Official 6/14-6/16 Weekend Results Thread...(Hoist pic included)

Went out to Cocodrie today and had a very productive day. I got a little nervous last night with the wind still blowing, but the wind ended up letting up right before day break. Caught a nice speck on my first cast, and the action didn't let up. We ended the day with 36 Specks, 1 Bull Red, 1 Bull Croaker. We started out catching the fish on live shrimp, and when those ran out we started hammering some nice specks on live cocahoes.
We were surprised that most of the specks were pretty good size, and we had a few throwbacks, but not many, and not many keepers we had to measure.

Yes from the dock. Lipless crank (chrome redeye shad) cast out about 30 yards. He caught 9 yesterday, 5 on the same, and 4 on a shaky head.

Tore up the bass Friday AM in bayou black. Threw back a few small and a few over 3lbs. Kept 17. Could have easily gotten our 20 but I had to get back for a dr appointment. Best day of bass fishing I've had in a very long time.
Went offshore with conundrum and BigHoss and others yesterday, got a bunch of snapper and some grouper.
Also got toe up after neck's wedding Friday night.
Pretty damn great weekend for me. Now to watch the tigers play

Arctic Tern, which has the longest migratory route of any bird in the world. Wind coming off the glacier was strong enough to where they could just hover like a hummingbird, but hardly flapping their wings.

Belle river all weekend.
Drank a few beers, caught a few fish, lost my watch and sunglasses tubing, ate good and slept good.
