Discovered this little jewel while going to lay hands on the Ruger PC 9, which I had about talked myself into buying. This little thing was neat as a speckled puppy.

I immediately noticed the flaw of having a top mounted optic on it, then you couldn't fold it up as designed. Low an behold, Midwest has already come out with a mount that flips out of the way for the folded position.

I saw where the Gen 1 had some issues, but the Gen 2 addressed these quickly.

Any of you baws got one of these dudes?

breaking a glock 9mm version in right now, have had a couple FF but I've only ran about 100 rounds through it so far and I think the FF was due to a 3rd party 31-round mag. fun shooting gun want to get a glock pistol to go with it and be able to use the same mags. I'll be shooting again this weekend and will try to remember to post an update.

Ruger also makes a neat little carbine now that uses 9mm Glock mags.

Yeah, the PC 9 I mentioned in the OP. It's a neat rig but kinda heavy for a small caliber carbine.

The little sub 2000 folds up, not comes apart like the take down models.

FIL has one that he loves. I think his uses Glock mags. Never had an issue with it and he folds it up and puts it in a backpack when riding his motorcycle.

Shot a buddy's Kel Tec and did not like it. The charging handle /knob wiggled when pulling on it. Just too much play. Felt cheap. Also, he told me the mag well catch was loose and would drop a mag if you weren't careful. That did not happen when I was shooting it but if the owner called it out i thought i should mention it. I went ahead and spent the extra $90 or so and got the PC9. I like that it breaks down like the 10/20 take down and appreciate having the threaded barrel just in case I want to go through the hoops of getting a can for it.
