Going up for a weekend trip to the camp. Anyone in North LA seen any bucks making solo trips ISO does? Historically started seeing bigger bucks mobile around this time before the real chasing begins.

They're still somewhat queered up in NELA in the Delta. Probably won't see much for a couple weeks in the way of pre-rut. Not sure about pine woods, it should be about time.

Hearing reports from Jackson and Ouachita parish of buck checking. I've seen a couple killed with necks starting to swell and smelling pretty nasty.

Killed a 10 point in Lincoln Parish that was definitely cruising for a date. Its usually around the 15th when we see it really heat up. Should be good this weekend.

I hear you. He would have been something in a couple of years. He was crossing way up the lane, 175 yards, and moving pretty fast.. I had to ground check him. LOL

I saw 6 different bucks this morning in Claiborne Parish. All of them were either chasing does or had their nose in buck bomb estrous that I sprayed on the way in. Killed a cull 3 1/2 year old 4 point.

I may just have to sit all day tomorrow...should be a GREAT morning.

Wish i would've taken a few days off this week, but my boss was in town.

Yeah it should be a good morning. In a box stand with my 10 year old daughter but haven't seen anything. Trying to get her first so anything is fair game tonight.
