I've heard a lot of good things about Weiss also. I'll make it down there sometime also. Maybe I can talk the women into 2 trips this year.

Why is Oakdale your destination?

That will put you 2-2.5 hrs from Toledo roughly. Well worth the drive still though.

Toledo Bend and Millwood (in Arkansas) used to be two of the better bass fishing lakes around. Not sure what happened. Caught a lot of crappie in Toledo Bend though

Actually Oakdale is where the federal prison is and I would see someone there while I'm at it.
