New Camo Made in the USA

Swapping out of my Chinese First Lite after hearing Ben O’Brien lecture as to why Biden is a better choice on his recent podcast. If you didn’t know O’Brien also worked for yeti and was behind the NRA debacle. Steven Rinella seems like a good dude, but his choice of selling out meateater to a left wing wacko and the consistent leftward drift of the meat eater crew is more than I can take.
Heard about Gulch Camo. Dude was a Pixar animator that started his own company, everything made in the USA. I’ll be investing with them and hoping they take off.

No idea, it’s made from polartec and toray, which is the same fabric KUIU uses. I just ordered some so we will see, but yeah the pattern is pretty nice.

Ya think anyone that worked for pixar is going to lean right? IMO, toray is a poor imitation of gortex. I cheated out on my first pair of Simms waders and regretted it a year later. Thankfully Simms swapped them on a warranty return for the gortex model.

While I am not over triggered by who anyone else votes for(as long as they respect others choices), it would have been better to just sit out the discussion on the podcast. There was no reason too and no matter what you will upset a portion of your listeners.

That’s what I am beginning to see. Land Tawney, the head of Backcountry Hunters and Anglers is a massive Obama bundler and runs a dem PAC. I liked the hunting collective podcast, but damn leave politics out. If you do bring it up don’t lecture me about who is better for America while you hock Chinese made goods. That last podcast was just too much, not interested anymore.
Yeah I’ll probably sell my first lite gear, I don’t have much, corrugate pants cirrus jacket and the ranger shirt and face mask all in fusion. It’s nice stuff but pisses me off to pay those prices and see “made in China” every time I put them on.

I’m finding there’s a large contingent of younger folks in the hunting industry who lean left. Most come from the west, but several also reside in the upper Midwest.

Everything is becoming run by leftists it’s depressing. Imo they’re doing it to destroy what we love because so many regular people will start boycotting.
