Have complained to him multiple times and he just doesn’t care.
At what point can I just kill one to teach him a little lesson

Look for shrooms with a purple ring around the stalk in their patties.

I think I would ask The sheriff and a lawyer, before I killed one, but if they say it's fine, I would be putting beef in the freezer. Pick a nice fat one.

Pretty sure you can get the law involved if it’s that bad and the owner refuses to do anything about it.

You don't have to call the law. Catch em or hire someone (even better), if you don't have anywhere to hold em send them to local stockyard or vet. Contact the owner via letter that you have his property and he may pick them up after paying board and dock.
He will really care when he has to pay to get em back and start tidying up those fences. Thats the legal way in MS.

My friend has had this problem, in east GA. They got the law involved. The law goes to the house, nobody answers the door, even though there's clearly somebody there. The law goes back to my friend to say sorry, they don't answer the door, and we can't kick it in on account of some cows walking loose.
They've been over there in person, knocking on the door to complain without the law, same non-response.

Definitely don't shoot em, illegal as hell.

I'd let them loose off both properties so he'd have to track'm down.

If you shoot one just to prove a point you going to be in more trouble than it's worth.

just run them off your property and into the road. when they kill a family going to church, then he will have to do something about it.

True story. Near where I live a person is being sued for 2 million because their donkey was in the road and someone plowed into it and died

Unfortunatly I had to do this a while back, neighbor seemed to think it was funny his cows liked our winter wheat fields, once he had to pay a bill the nonsense stopped.

If you shoot one you'll end up in more trouble than it's worth. It's hard to hide a cow carcass.
Call peta and have them kidnap the cows off of your property.

Your parish/county animal control can pick up livestock. Just call them when the animals are on your place.

You have several options.
Contact your local animal control. They can take the cow and charge the owner
Or you can catch the cow and hold it yourself. If im not mistaken you have to send a certified letter and post it public notice for 30 days attempting to find the owner. If owner appears you can use their information to go after them through civil court. If nobody claims it you can take possession of it and sell it. Id contact livestock and brand commission before bringing a stolen cow to the stockyard though.

You can shoot it with a bb or pellet gun. Eventually they wont come over. Or put up a fence.

The neighbor hasn't put up a fence? Put up no trespassing signs that say, "Trespassers will be shot and eaten." He'll get the message!
