To combat this I placed more cellular cameras to catch people when I am not there. This spring, my camera sent a picture of truck entering my property, license plate clearly visible, and pulling a large trailer. One hour later I get another phot of driver leaving, with my Redneck Mfg. tower stand on his trailer. Smooth busted his arse and charges were pressed based on this information. Without it I would have been out an expensive piece of equipment.

Problem with this is that 9/10 they will steal the cellular camera.

Had a similar problem on a duck lease one time. We lived about 45 minutes and would only hunt weekends and random days during the week when we took off work for a front. We had tresspassers who would hunt the back half of the swamp. We hung No Tresspassing signs, tried speaking with the neighbors who all denied it was them. They were mostly elderly people. One day I climbed in a blind back in that area and there are 3 dozen nice decoys hanging up. So I got some new decoys. I felt bad about it at first but it stopped the tresspassing.

If it's on your property it's fair game IMO

About 10 years ago, I had a couple of kids come through on 4 wheelers and mud ride through a section of my property that we had just finished working a few days earlier with a dozer. I chased them with a truck but they got into the woods and got away.

About a month later I see them do it again, except this time my CRF 450, was leaned against my shop. I hollered at them, the kid flipped me off and took off to the woods. I’ve been racing MX and Woods since I was a young kid. The kid was laugh it and flipping me off as he hit the woods. About 45 seconds later, I had him blocked and pinned in a trail in the woods. I caught him so fast that it scared the crap out of him.

30 minutes later, he and his family received a visit from the sheriff’s Dept.

I never had to deal with the kid again.

came upon a pulp wood cutter that had crossed from timber co. land onto Dad’s property and was feverishly working on a load. Told dad about it when I got home. He wasn’t to far removed from his infantry days in Vietnam, so he was in his mess around and find out mood.

Has happened to my dad before. We didn’t know it till the timber company had already moved on but he called someone he knew and talked to them.

Took about 6 months but he got $$$&& for his cut timber, his inconvenience, they had to build a new barbed wire fence to replace the one they tore down, and they got a hefty fine.

My dad will routine call me and tell me he hears chainsaws in the woods behind his house. So I’ll drive up there and we hop on my foreman and go investigate

He doesn’t trust anyone I guess after 77 years it’s ingrained in his bones
