Guys my Jeans are just to hot everyday outside for work. I need a clean looking pair of pants for hot work days. Something I can wear in client meetings, walking job sites, and working around the camp.

also check out GoRuk simple pant.

They are super thin and bomb proof.

Prana pants

Looks nice with a collared shirt and boots and I wear them for any outdoors activities. They stretch, are light, and they wick.

Picked up a set of Kuhl khakis for $70/pr from a local shop. They are cooler but if you do any heavy outside work they won't last. I just stick with heavy canvas work pants from Duluth, I'll sweat through whatever I'm wearing anyway and at least these last more than a few months without developing holes. Haggar clothing makes good work/business pants too, they don't wrinkle either if you are the type that goes straight from the dryer.

I’ve got a pair of their rockland pants that I like. I wear them to the office as well as outdoors. I want to try their Zion but not sure how I’d like a pair of nylon pants.

I like the vertx delta stretch too. They just revamped them and I haven’t tried the new design but will pickup a pair.

I've been wearing and liking the Technician pants from Wrangler Riggs wear. They're light, but ripstop. So hoping they last.

Wal mart has some wranglers that are awesome. They come in black, gray and light blue. They are comfortable and cool. I have 5 pairs.

Get you some Dickies, like Paw Paw. Who’s also embarrassed you had to ask what kind of pants you should wear to work in.

Dickies Flex five pocket work pants. Much more comfortable than jeans and they’re only around $35/ pair. They last a long time too.

I was traveling for business last year and needed a pair of last minute pants I didn't mind getting dirty. I stopped at a Wal Mart by the test lab and picked up a pair of Swiss Tech travel pants. They are cut and styled like jeans but are made from a much lighter weight quick dry fabric. But the fabric was thicker and tougher than you would find in your normal golf type light weight pants. They have been great pants. I have a couple of pairs Ex Officio Nomad travel pants that are very similar and would fit your description. They are probably 10+ years old and going strong.

Tractor Supply Rustic Ridge work pants! Bought 2 pair last summer and they are crazy soft and comfortable. Look like the Carhartt's but lighter material. And they were on sale for $12 ($14 regular price)! check em out.

This is what you're looking for. It doesn't look like there are many sizes available online but I've seen stacks of them in Walmart before. I don't own any pairs but I have a few friends that do and say they are comparable to much more expensive brands (Kuiu, etc).

That is the ones I was talking about. They are very comfortable and have a side zippered pocket that comes in handy.
