Do you need to be fitted or do you know your measurements and you need the gun altered to your measurements? What type of shotgun?

i'm NOT going to jim's. i've read enough to know better. i'm just wondering about this guy's quality of work on shotguns. in the past he has adjusted some rifle triggers for me and did a nice job.
