Montana woman kills, skins husky after mistaking it for wolf

LINK

quote:

A Montana woman has sparked disgusted outrage after she took to social media to proudly display the carcass of a Siberian husky she killed in a hunt and skinned — after mistaking it for a wolf pup.

Amber Rose, of Miller City, posted the graphic images on Facebook showing her clutching a rifle and grinning as she holds up the animal’s remains.

“So this morning I set out for a solo predator hunt for a fall black bear however I got the opportunity to take another predator wolf pup 2022 was a great feeling to text my man and say I just smoked a wolf pup. #firstwolf #onelesspredatorMT,” Rose wrote.

Her post sparked immediate backlash by animal lovers, who pointed out that the animal she slaughtered was not a baby wolf.

She was on social media saying she'd shoot more dogs and such then deleted her account.

They also changed the story multiple times.

When I was in WY last year we saw this huge dog sitting out in a snowy field. I pulled over to check it out and some young guys from in town stopped too. We thought it was a wolf.

Took a good bit of time looking through glass to figure out it was a husky enjoying the cold

is this like the redneck version of "he used a racial slur" get out of jail free card?

I agree

Middle of woods, wild dog, one that looks like that, good chance it is growling, I could see it eating a bullet

Now field dressing the thing and taking pics still not noticing?

Do you need a get out of jail free card for shooting a dog in the middle of the woods? How does that work? Is it out of season? Maybe it was bow only?

i dont know but the chances that that dog was howling and growling and acting like he was going to eat her are ZERO.

You think it is a zero percent chance a dog in the middle of the woods was growling at a person? Really?

i think the chances that it was acting like it was going to eat her are zero. the chances that it was growling I'll put at 1%. and if it was close enough for her to hear it growling, then it was close enough for her to tell it wasnt a fricking wolf.
