Might consider a four wheeler, but has to fit in truck.

What model?
I have the extended cab, and my Rancher and Bog Bear 400 both fit with the tailgate closed.

Crew cab, no luck, bed is too short to fit one and close the tailgate.

Lay down two 2x10s length ways in the bed.

Cut the length of the bed with tailgait3 down.

Drive onto them.

Done.

Did this When I had a 4 door Nissan Frontier and a Honda 300. Works like a champ.

I’m not sure I understand the problem here. Are you saying a four wheeler can’t fit in a ‘91 Toyota bed? My neighbor used to fit a Kawasaki 700 in his yota.

Someone needs to invent a tool that has some type of standard units so he can kinda see how big his bed is and then do comparisons of some type.

I mean, there's nothing wrong with keeping the tailgate down while you ride around with your 4-wheeler in the back. That's what I do

There is a replacement locking bar you can put in place of the hinge that are heavy duty and can help with concern on the tailgate weight.

DM makes em. They are yellow bars that snap in.

Suzuki 250

This or recon. We had owned nothing but honda atvs for 30years. 3 years ago i was needing an atv to leave at my camp, so i didnt have to haul my polaris ranger every weekend. Searched craigslist, found a suzuki ozark 250.. old man had it, 2006 model. I did research and found it was basically same bike as the recon. He was asking $1100. I gave him $900 cash and brought it home. And its been nothing but amazing. Cranks every time, zero issues at all. Leave it at the camp, and ready to roll. Its only 2wheel drive. But its so dam light you dont need 4 wheel drive. My camp is on a swamp and i have went through some tough stuff. Its not heavy enough to sink, and if it was you can get off and move it around. I have loaded 400# of corn, my buddy and myself on it amr went to fill feeders. It carried us no problem. Good lil bike, i will always vouch for

Been riding a 350 for a few months now in thick clay and I can’t seem to get it stuck. I’ve always wanted a big bore just to play on but now I can’t really justify it over a sxs with a bed. The smaller bike will carry as much as I can fit on it and can be picked up and lifted out of just about anything.

To hold ATV in truck bed

Get one of these. Holds it solid as can be in the bed and somewhat takes pressure off tailgate. Used one for years in a super crew short bed truck to carry Big Bear 400
