Anyone have experience with this newer pistol. I ordered one with the crimson laser included.

If the trigger is improved like that of the new 2.0s, you're in for a treat.

+1

The Shield is one of the most popular single stacks on the market.

Because he's probably a "Glock above all" guy.

Good pistol. Can't go wrong with the shield.

You should look into talon grips, especially if you want to carry it. That 2.0 stippling is aggressive as frick.

I don't think the shield 2.0 is as aggressive as the 2.0 full size and compact, but I could be wrong.

If they're close to the same roughness, I completely agree. Got the rubber talons on my 2.0 9c and it is infinitely more comfortable to shoot and carry.

does the 2.0 give you the option on the thumb safety?

Thanks, I like the sound of the talon grips. Picking it up Friday.

I bought a Shield 9mm off a guy a while back. You guys have any experience with aftermarket triggers for it? Is the Apex trigger worth the $$$?

Just the trigger or the duty/carry kit too? I'd rather not frick with the kit bc I see where you have to remove the rear sight.
