M&P 15-22 Safety Alert

Surely this has been covered, but I did a search and didn't find anything.
About a month ago Smith & Wesson announced a safety alert for M&P 15-22 rifles. Apparently two (that's right - a total of 2) Model 15-22 rifles were found to have out-of-spec bolts.
M&P 15-22 Safety Alert
I don't personally know anyone whose bolt was out-of-spec bolt. (mine was fine). But it's easy to check:
Click on the link above and follow the directions for ordering a spacer gauge (feeler gauge) from S&W. It's free, and comes with really clear instructions/photos showing how to check the bolt dimension that's in question.
I would have posted this sooner, but was waiting to receive my second gauge from S&W. (My first wife threw away the first gauge that S&W sent. She only does this with important stuff - she's really good about keeping NRA mailouts and political flyers )
If your bolt is out-of-spec, S&W will replace it at no charge.
If this is a dupe, please report it to the admins and have it deleted.

I have 3 of these.
and While I have witnessed no issues with them, it bothers me that Project Appleseed has banned them from use at their clinics due to a few out of battery discharges and a few runaways(full auto bursts) occurring at the clinics.
We still use them elsewhere, but I'm wondering if this will get the 15-22 back into Project Appleseed shoots.
From what I recall on the ban, S&W refused to acknowledge anything wrong with them, so Project Appleseed banned them.
