Had to push my Rayburn and Toledo trip back a week. Anyone been fishing the last couple of days and are females still hanging around beds or are most of you catching mostly males?

Don't know about that, but there were a ton of guy fishing Lake D'Arbonne today. My dad said he saw a couple of guys catching fish from the bank when we were crossing the Lake, headed back to Ruston. The larger boat ramp parking was full and parked trucks & trailers were lined up on the road to the ramp across from that one. A few boats were fishing the water along the side of the road too.
Don't know what any of this D'Arbonne activity means, but it made me want to get the boat on the lake soon.

MLF has been fishing Rayburn this whole week, looks like it’s been fishing pretty tough for them. I will be live again tomorrow and Friday if you want to give it a watch. Apparently they had a huge tournament there last week too I thought I heard them say.
Looks like they haven’t been able to find any real big ones on beds from what I’ve seen.

Coming soon , ldwf will be stocking bayou country sports park (Houma) with thousands of bass.

They were smashing them late today in the buck brush and shallow flats, they have to stop fishing at 4:30 pm or so.
If you were able to stay till dark it should be phenomenal.
If it stays warm after dark go fish some lighted boat docks/piers with a big black worm.

Headed out this evening to do just what you posted above.
Fished with my brothers this morning and did not get off to a good start. They were catching pretty decent fish early on. I didn’t catch one until 9:50am. I had the redass. I’m usually the one who catches pretty good when we fish but wasn’t hitting on shite.
Found some really nice grass edges and caught some good fish on a Fluke all the way to 2pm. I primarily like using a Fluke in the fall but did well in the middle of the day today. I was surprised at the size of some of the fish. Usually only catch smaller males on fluke this time of the year but I had tried a lot of baits already. Worms, lizards, swim jigs, creature baits and was absolutely 0 for.
I think there’s just too many people out here right now and over the past month these fish have had a thousand different baits burned in front of their faces and are savvy to what’s going on. I fished my dick off early morning and didn’t get a bump. I feel good about what we were able to do mid-day today and feel even better about this evening.

I fished Thurs/Fri with a small group of guys.. We all fished shallow and caught nothing but males

Fished the poche tour agent today. Caught over 30, most males. Had 15lbs with an 8lb kicker. Lost a 5pber at the boat that would have put is in the money
