I was thinking about putting a Tile on my dog's collar when we take her to the woods. It wouldn't get me right on top of her, but pretty doggone close.

I run a garmin Alpha, but Dogtra had a GPS tracker come out since I purchased mine that is cheaper. It has about the same range at 7 miles in ideal conditions but uses your smartphone to connect via bluetooth to a transmitter. The Dogtra is 1/2 the cost. They have been making excellent e collars for a long time and you download free google maps instead of the pay maps for garmin.
