Where can I buy live shrimp on my ride down to cocodrie, and will they be open early, 5, 530ish??

They had them a couple weeks ago but I would call around before down. They have plenty of places to buy bait and they are all open at that time.

Last weekend we couldnt get shrimp till 7. Everybody sold out at 530

Same thing in grand isle last week. Went to carmadelles, and sold out for 5am! Everyone in front of me bought 200 shrimp. I was seven in line and the guy in front me got the last 50.

Theres a little place on the bayou right past lapeyrouse campground. Its behind the first trailer on the hwy past the bridge.

Across from Sportsman paradise before Robinson canal then about half mile past RC on left. If you get there at 5am on weekend you could be out of luck, I get up and got get the bait at 4:30 to make sure I get some.
