Does anyone have a live scope transducer on their i pilot trolling motor? I’ve been reading that it can’t be connected and/or it shouldn’t be connected. I’d rather not mount it to my transom. Any advice on installing it yourself? It looks pretty straight forward

I have both, no problem, but if you spot lock, the live scope is all over the place, which is why some use a separate mounting system.

I have a buddy with it on an Ulterra, it’s pretty bulky and the wires can get hung up easily

I’ll give it a try. I did see some videos on separate poles for mounting.

I'm torn. I want to use spot lock, but Livescope is more important to me. Yet, I really don't like the idea of another apparatus installed on my boat. I guess I am waiting for a better product that mounts to the troller and has a handle for adjustment.

Was at the Skeeter dealer the other day and he said there is a pole mount that attaches to the Ultrex bracket that the Live Scope transducer is mounted on. I've got Mega 360 and used the threaded holes in the Ultrex bracket for that.

I have an Ulterra with livescope mounted to it. I used to have it on a pole, but it’s too hard to run a remote control and the pole at the same time.

I ordered a bracket from cornfield crappie gear, you have to play with brackets to make sure the cable saver don’t hang when you lift up troll motor. It works great even with spot lock

Thanks. I saw that bracket mentioned on another forum. I’ll definitely check it out
