Is this the same type of mushroom that No Colors picked up the other day?

Mississippi delta if that means anything. Thanks for the advise.

It is, and we found one a couple of days ago. No look alike mushrooms good or bad. It was great cooked in garlic and butter.

That's it. Exactly what mine looked like.

I cooked mine for a big NYE dinner that we had. I think they were pretty good. The only issue is that we got so hammered to no one really remembers.

I found some last year that I didn’t know what they were. Finally after some discovery turns out to be a cauliflower mushroom and especially delicious. I’ve been checking the spot for them but as of yet - nothing yet. Just a matter of time and catch the right conditions.

Accoridng to the facebook thread about this same plant early last week, it grows back in the same spot every year.
Go back next year and you should find another harvest.

Dude when you find quality mushrooms like that print and collect the spores and grow more it’s as simple as shaving.
You can grow these in 3 weeks get a kit and grow your own.
