Light dimmer switch

I have 6 can lights in my kitchen. Just replaced with dimmable 65w LED lights. I want to install a dimmer switch on the wall. I'm trying to figure out what type of dimmer switch to get to support all 6 lights.
... and yes, the OB is smarter than the people who work at Home Depot these days.

Do you have one switch to turn them on or two in the room? LED may say 65w equivalent but it is pulling way less. You need a dimmer for either 1 pole or 3 pole. Depends if you have one switch or two. That low of wattage draw just get the smallest one they have at Home Depot. Wiring is simple. Three screws and your done.

Right now we have a single switch that controls all 6 on the wall. Next to the sink we have one switch that controls only the one that’s located above the sink which is part of the six.

Then just go get a Lutron or similar dimmer. Wiring is simple on a switch.

If it's one single switch you just need an LED dimmer, which it should say on the front of the package. I believe the other guys may have pointed out the exact one. You can get them at HD or Lowe's.
Be sure your LEDs are dimmable before installing the dimmer switch. If not they'll either strobe or just go off when you try to dim them.

Doesn't matter; everyone of them are made in the same building in China

There's multiple types of actual dimmer switches, in case you didn't know. There are tabs on the side of the switch, there are switches that slowly dim, there are round knobs you rotate, etc.
I'd ask the wife what kind she prefers. I hate the kind that have the little tab next to the switch personally.

So you have 5 lights on one switch and 1 light on another switch?
Unless you want to add the one light to the other 5 Id leave it alone.

This dimmer will work, or if you have decora switches just get the equivalent decora dimmer.
In the picture you see a black hole in the middle of the switch. If you dim the lights and they flicker, you need to turn the screw in the black hole until they dont flicker anymore.
