Lefties Shooting Right Handed Semi-Auto Long Guns

Any left-handed shooters truly felt the need to buy a left handed semi-auto rifle or shotgun.
I have seen a few people on gun boards saying that it bothers them to have the empty casings/hulls ejected out the right side. Am I the outlier who doesn't have a problem with this ? (I never see the empty casings - I suppose it's because I'm focused on the target.)
eta: I do reverse the safety and reverse the shims on Beretta shotguns.

I am a leftie and use to shoot a right handed gun. Bought a SB 2 left side ejection and immediately noticed a difference . It’s difficult for your eyes not to follow an ejecting shell across your face

The stocks on left handed guns are built for left handed shooters. Almost everyone left handed will shoot a left handed shotgun better.

When I was perdiz hunting (similar to quail hunting) in Argentina last year we (my dad and I) were given right handed guns. It was a huge pain in the arse because the safety was on the wrong side of the trigger. More than once I pulled up to shoot and nothing happened because the safety was still on. I either had to carry the gun awkwardly so I could hit the safety as I shouldered the gun or would reach under the trigger and turn the safety off after it was shouldered. Some birds definitely lived because of it, a tragedy.
My dad was fricking pissed because he was assured they'd have left handed guns for us down there.

I'm a righty that shoots lefty and when I build my AR I build it left-handed.....very happy not to see shite being ejected. I didn't see every shell casing but did see some.

I buy all left the handed I can.
For bolt guns its just easier to work. Same with shotguns, all the controls are on the correct side. Plus like already mentioned the stocks have bends in them to fit left or right.
Now all my ar's are wrong handed but I usually add the ambi saftey.

it's not really what handed you are for a shotgun and how you shoot, but which eye is dominant.....

im not about to be restricted on what I can and can't buy lmao

I’m right handed and left eyed dominant and have always shot left handed since I was old enough to shoot a BB gun. Shooting a right-handed auto has never been an issue for me.

I’ve never had to adapt since I never started shopping with any left handed guns. Pistol or rifle.
Never had at shells hit my face. Arm, yes.
It’s more of a cost and realism aspect for me.

I’ve done it my whole life and doesn’t bother me.

Only time it bothered me was shooting M9/ARs. That had more to do with releasing the bolt and charging.
It has never bothered me hunting. I guess growing up I always shot "normal" weapons so the casing ejecting across the face was just normal.

Same here everything I have is made for a righty... I'm a righty but for whatever reason, I box/fight and shoot a rifle lefty.

My main shotgun is a Browning BPS. Nice to have the bottom eject. If I buy another, it will be left hand eject.
I’ve shot a BAR and REM 1100 a good bit and never really had a problem. My bolt rifles are lefty bolts.

I shoot right handed guns as a lefty.. it doesn't bother me.. when I have custom rifles built I build them left handed. Just because they are custom..

Only one that prompts me to buy a southpaw model is the bolt guns....No issues with any of the others....
