I guess we’re doing it all wrong. Ours are healthy and well cared for. But I know we don’t live up to the OB’s expectations of trashy deer dog hunters.

on 12/28/22 at 12:33 pm to REB BEERI have family that coon hunted hard when I was younger. Some of the Blueticks and Redbones were the prettiest dogs you would see. Other hunters left theirs in shitty conditions.

My father in law was a big dog hunter back in the day and he would do this too... his explanation was that he couldn't help if the dogs couldn't read posted signs. I know at least one of his dogs was shot by an irate landowner.

Those are weekend kennels at the camp. The ones they normally live in are much nicer.

I would think y'all are doing it right. I think we all know what kind of hunters are talked about in the article. Probably the same people that shot the Livingston deer.
