I'm looking at buying a 7.5 acre lot. I would like to clear at least 5 of the acres. It is wooded but the trees aren't too thick and there is a lot of pine. I've gotten one quote, but was wondering if anyone here has someone or company they recommend or has knowledge of the cost of clearing acreage. The land is fairly level and not swampy. Burning is ok. Thanks.

Sounds like a really good deal. A lot better than I was quoted. Do you know the company name.

South or North, the closer someone is and the less they have to move equipment the cheaper the cost...

If no one else gives you a name I have the name of someone that might still clear...

Thanks. That would be helpful. Like I said I have a bid from someone who owns the land adjacent to me, but it seemed fairly high. Just trying to find a few other points of reference. If you're not comfortable posting his info on here you can email me. xdhans86x@gmail.com
