Just got 22 ft Skeeter Center Console and want to take a ride down Blind River to lake Maurepas and then across to Pass Manchac to Middendorfs. Have been in Blind River alot but never crossed the lake. Is there any main channel marked or navigation issues that I need to be aware of? Also, is St. James Boat Club launch open to the public - for a fee I am sure? Any advice is appreciated!

The main channel is marked a good way out. Never ran from blind to manchac, but i cant think you would hit anything in middle of lake. Just keep gps on

The channel out of blind river is marked...... Just don't get too close to the bank. Then once in middle of lake you should be good.

the boat club is free, coming out of blind river just stay in the middle, you can see it...the left side is full of stumps and the right side is a sandbar
