Asked the OB for recommendations and then booked with Capt Frank. Went out this morning after terrible weather these past days . He left the trip entirely up to us, and since we had grandsons that were so pumped up that we said let’s give it a go.
The man worked his butt off trying to get us on trout, and we did catch a few but nothing like what could have been if conditions had been better.
Still We and the boys had a great time, Frank is a great guy and we will be back with him either here or in Ponchartrain.

Fishing’s been rough lately due to the weather but I’ve always heard great things about him

There are only a few guides that I would pay for down there and Capt. Frank is definitely one of them.

Not that there aren’t more that are good but there are only a few that I enjoy going with.

Yep I was in grand isle last week. Fishing was the worst I have seen in a summer.

It’s been pretty bad down there. The beach bite was very short this year it seems.

Ha!
This has been one of the best years I’ve had fishing down there.

Same here. Caught more on rocks than I did on beach.

I’m ready to start counting down the days for roadside

Amen to that
Starting to think I may be the only fisherman to do better in the fall/winter than summer down there
