Picked up four sacks for tomorrow. Never kept crawfish overnight before. Really don't want to screw it up. Here's what I have set up. Damp towel on top with ice in the bottom corner. Elevated to allow drainage. Think I'll be okay?

With it being cool outside, you will be fine with that setup.

Exactly, with the cool temps. You'll be fine.

Holy crap man...perfect timing for a thread like this. I'm picking up 90lbs to.orrow for a boil on Sunday. FWIW your method is exactly what Louisiana Crawfish Co told me to do.

Kept a sack for almost two days just like that couple weeks ago. Very little dead loss.

I've kept some 5 days in a cooler with a little crushed ice over the top.

As it melts it keeps them hydrated too, I guess. Definitely put the ice on top. Don't let them set in water.

I kept some for a few days also. Wet towel on top of crawfish. Ice on top of towel. Pull plug.

As cool as it is you're fine. Don't let them sit in h2o and your good. You're going to loose a few over night, but its expected

For liquid purposes only, it's cool enough to keep them alive
