Some of you may remember we were contemplating fixing up our boat 6 months ago. Well, we finally launched her yesterday. Here's the transformation.

25 foot custom aluminum boat. My dad and a naval architect designed it in the 90s. Then, my dads company built it. Use to have two 175s. Repowered with two etec 200s. It does have a rub rail, but you can't see it because of thr blue paint. Left it blue so you can't see the scratches.

Very Nice

What did you use on the T Top. Doesn't look like canvas? Looks like a hard top.

We used a sheet of aluminum for the T-top. Put a vibration absorbant paint on it and welded it down.

A aluminum hull of same size boat is about 15% less in total weight.

Nice looking rig. No floor fishbox?

What's the purpose of GBE slotted gunnel between the pad and the aluminum?

To give us room to install the pad. Put that on there and had measured the pad and had some plastic boards cut and delivered to the place that made the cushions. Had predrilled holes and when we got it back it took 5 minutes to install.
