Mine is underwhelming. Can someone tell me one that is fantastic on recovery that isn't insanely expensive? I only have one big pot, so the current burner will be retired to turkey/shrimp duty.

Bayou classic double jet.
$66 for the steel version (amazon)
$104 for the stainless version (amazon)

I have the stainless version with 30 psi regulator paired with my 100 qt rocket pot. 8 gallons of water rolling boil in just under 7 minutes.

jet burner technology is nothing special. if yours is underwhelming it is for a couple reasons. your nozzle is clogged or the wrong size or your pressure is wrong. before going out and buying a new burner i would clean your nozzle out with a wire brush and some cleaner. and get a good high pressure regulator.
