To you sir, who passed on a 6 point buck this morning, I say screw you! I haven't seen a squirrel...much less a deer this morning!

He is small. Looks like a tiny 4pt with brow tines. He may have a 7" spread. He so small my kids wouldn't shot him last week. I may still have a pic of him on my phone. Standby.

Here is a pic from last week. He was 10feet from the stand.

You were that bored that you have to kill those Pouldeau's?

Don't get me wrong, I would have done it too if I had seen some this morning. I never reached for my calls, much less my gun.

Had a great duck hunt this am with lil sis. Only one shooter.

Now we are sitting and waiting on an old stinky hog for her to blast. Savage .308 with 150 gr corelockt PSP in a oak thicket with feeder in direct view 50 yards away. 68 degrees south wind.

My family hunted in Woodville off Highway 24 for the first 20 years of my life. I had some of the best times of my life up there. We left Mississippi when they jacked up the out of state license prices and we haven't been back since. I'd love to get back up there one day. Hunting hasn't been the same since we left
