Pipeline

Was watching 5 deer in the pipeline about 0605, 8 minutes before shooting time. Had enough light to see one was a buck that I would’ve shot, but you know, green jeans

Baw about 800 yds down just shot. Didn’t hear impact though. Seen more deer this morning than I’ve seen all year so far. I like it.

Small 4pt and a doe and yearling. They getting bigger. Just need about 4 more points and at least a 18 inch spread.

About to across this property line and ring this dudes neck. Same guy that shot at 7, never got down to look for blood or anything. Spine shot a basket rack at 0820 and it’s still flopping around in the middle of the pipeline. NOW he’s looking for blood and talking on the phone.

No luck for me out there today. Crazy how the snow changes things up. With how much was sticking to the branches, I couldn’t see nearly as far as usual.

On the walk out I spotted blood on the trail then a blood pool with tracks all around it. About a foot into the thick stuff was deer guts, leg, etc. looks like some coyotes found a deer somewhere and had a good meal.

On the way home the butcher called me and said my deer I shot last weekend was ready. So at least I came home with something ??
