Is the Glock 43 a decent CCW?

Anyone here carry one?
I've been carrying a Ruger LCR revolver for awhile and would like to add another CCW to the rotation. I own a Glock 19 which has been a solid pistol. I'm guessing the 43 has the typical Glock reliability? The size is my main concern because I typically carry in a iwb holster.
I'm fine with the 6+1 round magazine capacity fwiw.

It's far better than decent. It's the top single stack 9mm.

It’s a very good CCW but some aren’t that big on the fact that it’s only 6+1. I won’t say anything bad about it though.
I have a shield but I put an Apex trigger in it. It’s 7+1.
If they can get the bugs worked out the SIG P365 will be a great CCW. Will be hard to beat. Has a good trigger and it’s a 10+1.

It is a fine CCW. I carry one daily and have never had one problem

I have one, and am confident in mine's reliability.
Personally, I'm not at all comfortable with 6+1. I added +2 mag extensions - but it's still purely a BUG. My EDC is a G19. I shoot the G19 much faster, with better accuracy.
If I were more competent, and was positive I could get 7 really good hits with 7 shots (while under stress), I might consider it to be a good primary CCW piece for me.

It's really no different than the revolver I've carried for years. I'm ok with the capacity. I'll put several hundred rounds through it at my grandfather's property before I ever carry it.

Thanks. I figured it would be a good option

+1
I wouldn't say it's the "top" single stack 9 because it hasn't been out as long as something like the Shield. But as far as reliability, both have sterling track records. I like the Shield slightly more for the extra capacity and that it has a little softer recoil impulse. But either will serve you well as long as you run them hard through a few hundred rounds to assure proper function.
There are some other good single stacks on the market that you may want to look at as well:
Walther PPS M2
Walther CCP
Springfield XDs
Kahr CM9
Ruger LC9s Pro
But if you're used to shooting Glocks the most, the 43 will feel the most natural.

I carry a Glock 43. Also own a Glock 23 and 27. Can't beat Glock reliability.

I'm a Glock fanboy and I carry a M&P Shield.
Didn't care for the feel of the 43 and the trigger felt terrible.

Have carried the G43 with 2+ HYVE extensions plus 2 spare mags for about a year, shoot it monthly to stay proficient. No complaints, no misfeeds.

The shield isn't a bad option but it is about 25% larger if that means anything to you.
As far as the p365, well if my aunt had nuts...
The g43 will be familiar to OP.

I have a Glock 43 and a Glock 26(10+1) I generally choose the 43 for comfort over the capacity of the 26 for CCW.

That's my thought as well. I've held both at Bowie and the 26 just felt a little thicker than I'd want. Not much though.

If at all possible, shoot it before you purchase it. I shot the 43, XDS, and Shield. The 43 felt better in my hand at the cabinet, but after shooting them, the XDS was the clear winner for me.

The Walther CCP is probably the best subcompact I've ever shot, but it's just about the same width as the 26. The CCP is only a single stack, so if I have the same width I'd rather go with a double stack 26.

The 43 has been a nice surprise - performs well - not one issue to date - shoots well - does exactly what is needed.
I do prefer the extend grip with my hands.
