Looking to bring my mom and siblings fishing for her 60th birthday. Anyone know of good trout/ red fish charters that can take up to 6 people? Would be able to go out of hopedale/ shell beach, Venice, port Sulphur... essentially anywhere in SE Louisiana. Looking to go in late July or early August. Any advice appreciated, TIA

6 people in a trout redfish trip will be almost nonexistant. You will probably have to split up. Maybe Ross Eichorn would do it, he has a 28 Blue Wave Bay Boat.

From the Captains I follow, I'd go with Brandon or Jon Carter, Marty Lacoste, Travis Miller.

Southern Delta Charters can take up to 5 per boat, according to the website. I believe there are 3 Captains that work together, so should be able to take 6 people, but would be in 2 boats.

Travis Lovell in Dularge. Great guide and person. I’m bringing my kids to fish with him next week.

Yes but he can be an arse.

I recommend Travis Lovell out of Dularge. He’s awesome with clients and fishes out of a 25’ Ranger
