Start stretching your butthole now. It'll hurt the first time, but just get easier the longer he goes at it. Make sure you get someone who knows what they are doing or else you can hurt yourself pretty badly

Slow, at least that kind. They make displacement boards that are on par with yaks, out of Lake Tahoe. They are touring hulls fro long/fast paddles.
Mine is a bit slow, but I can fit my wife, my son and an ice chest and gear bag...it's a beast, but it only weighs 32 lbs.
