Blue wave 2800 pure bay

I crawled around that Caymas and it's really nice.
I'd go Yellowfin, Caymas, Everglades, Dauntless, BW, Robaldo
This is my one day boat though.....

Out of that line up I am taking the whaler.

If you had to, which CC bay boat would you choose?
Blackjack 256
And just cause you seem to like expensive boats...Blackwood 27.

I would go Bluewave 2800, blackjack 256, Bluewave 2600. I climbed all over the caymas 28’ and 26’ it’s a gorgeous boat but has no history on performance so I would be iffy on buying one right off.

I have not, don't and am unlikely to ever dig that style.
However, of those, the Whaler would be the way I would lean, I think.

You're right of course, but

Now your talking, BW is just a joke on the water not a serious fishing boat. Really depends on how serious your about actually fishing. IF you plan to T-Top it, you’re not serious about catching fish IMO. Marketing people are the reason there are all of these do nothing boats out there.

Way too big. Awesome boats but just too much.

That’s probably the best looking cat I‘ve seen. I love everything about cats but the turns and look. But that’s a pretty damn good looking cat.

My buddy has one, does everything from perch jerkin to snapper fishing.

I just think it’s the beast “style” for Louisiana. If I were in Gulf Shores, Florida Panhandle or Florida Atlantic side I rather a Boston Whaler Outrage or something like that with a deep V.

That’s exactly my ideal range.

Pathfinder 2400 or 2600 HPS
Yellowfin 24 Carbon Elite
SeaVee 270Z
Or the new Hells Bay Estero 24 looks slick.

Cayo recently built a 26 cat hybrid that looks damn good, but I think they want 200k for them.

You didn't mention if you were just fantasizing or shopping or pre-shopping, so all the comments may be irrelevant.
For anyone shopping, the first thing to TRY to determine is the primary targeted species (or activity) and work out from there. Boats are so varied while having enough in common to create confusion even for the most focused shopper.
The bitch is, even if you figure out the "perfect" boat for your desire, AND happen to be able to afford it, your desire might change in a year or so. Oh well, keeps the manufacturers in business.
FYI, it's my understanding that "bay boats" are called "bay boats" and most all have center consoles. Lower dead rise (shallower Vee bottom), less draft required, and (used to be) slightly smaller in length, single outboard, and a trolling motor are bay boat characteristics. "Center Consoles" are boats made for going offshore. They also have center consoles but have a deeper Vee for bigger waves, higher sides (freeboard) and most have more than one outboard.
The trend is to blend these two to make us all happy, leading us to the bay boat/CC "Hybrid." Most bay boats about 25 feet and up are attempting to do this to varying degrees. Of course, compromises have to made. Usually a deeper required draft, a "bigger" boat, ofter more "luxurious" seats, maybe 2 motors, etc. Be sure not to choose one that has compromised so much that it's good at neither.
For anyone looking, try to ride/fish any of them you're considering.
Shopping and Fantasizing are both fun.

I’ll stick with my old 24’ kenner, I can accidentally hit shite with it and not cry like a little girl like I would if I scratched the paint on a 120k inshore boat.
