For the next month, what would they be? The goal is to catch the most and biggest bass.

Strong. I'd replace the jig with a shad rap simply because I just don't like fishing jigs there.

Jig-n-pig, Senko, Jig-n-craw, Chatterbait, Jig-n-swimbait (swim-jig)

Of course I never fished TB but I did stay at a Holiday Inn last night

I like to fish football jigs there. Flipping jigs not so much. But if they are hanging out up in the shallow brush I’d like to have one.

I’d troll 5 Alabama rigs behind my boat. OBC would be steering the boat.

Pretty easy for me.

#1 Soft plastic (watermelon red, sprayed grass color spectrum of some kind) that I can rig Texas, Carolina, or wacky depending on conditions.

#2 Fluke ( white, WRed)

#3 Jig with trailer (black/blue, Pb+J)

#4 KVD Crankbaits in about 3 water column depths. 1.5,2.5, 6xd (Reds and mirror finish)

#5 Jerkbait (mirror finish)

30 fish a day with that combo of baits from now till May

Have y’all ever heard of “dialing em up”? My dad’s friend told me he was responsible for fish at church fish frys in 60/70s - he took old dial up telephones, dropped the ear piece in the water and started spinning the dial. Electric current would stun fish and they float to the surface.

Is that BS?

Nope. Legit

Although I’m pretty sure it was the old hand crank phones

The versatility, manliness, and sheer power of the jig makes it worth 5 baits. It's basically America with a heavy gauge hook.
