Idiots on Gunbroker don't understand the 15 minute rule.

You're not going to bid with 30 seconds left and steal an auction, it just drags out the inevitable. If I want a gun I'm buying it, if you can't afford the gun I don't know what to tell you. Maybe try Walmart

Never used Gunbroker. What is the 15 min rule?

Every bid during the closing extends the auction 15 minutes, poors who can't read good don't understand and keep dragging out auctions. I've just gotten to where I think the price point may be and throw another 500 at it.

Basically you can't snipe an auction, if you bid late 15 minutes is added to the timer.

When I want something on gunbroker I just bid what I am willing to pay and let it ride or I contact the seller and try to do it outside of gunbroker.

The price increase is usually negligible, it just drags it out another 15 minutes each time some retard bids another $5 higher...and you know they're not going to win because of where you already set your bid-to limit.

There was a Winchester super grade maple I was bidding on. It went maybe $500 over MSRP. Kinda knew I wouldn't overpay by that much and let someone else get it.

I loathe online auction snipers. Same people who have a new get rich scheme every time you talk to them.

No dumbass I'm mad they drag the shite out, I'll put my nuts on the table, if you wanna outbid me outbid me. It's the retards thinking you can snipe an auction when you can't.

They incrementally up bid until they do so that they don’t have to drastically over pay more than they need to. Either way, you should buy now if you that uptight.

I do love me some gun broker for ammo. Will always pay 12 bucks for shipping instead of driving all over town

That's pretty risky on an item pushing 2k, if you get caught holding the bag you got listing fees, taxes etc. and they're pretty thorough about investigating IP addresses and shady shite.

When you’re at the end of an auction and some random users with no or very little feedback enter the fray and start driving up the price, it’s pretty obvious.
