raw hide chew

This could be the problem.

My lab would chew and eat them and then have a massive stomach ache so I quit giving them to her.

LOL, you're right. I was trying to figure out why he wouldn't come out of his house anymore. They have a few acres to roam, I thought he was dying.

100% Agree. Quit giving our dog rawhide bones completely.

I have three labs and give them each a chew a day. My oldest is 13, black female. Noticed one day she wouldn't eat a chew or a dog biscuit. Then stopped eating. I thought the end was near. Come to find out it was an abscess in her upper jaw from the raw hide. Vet said try feeding soft food and game me a script of antibiotics at 20 dollars a pop and if doesn't go down he'll put her under and operate on it. Thank god it went down. She doesn't get rawhide anymore.

Dogs are going to bed up the way they want to bed up regardless of what we do for them.

I bought my dog one of those nice beds from Orvis with the plush top and durable bottom and he said no thanks and flipped it over and started sleeping on the bottom part.

Also had a couch that was kind of old, but still comfortable that I had set up for the dogs and this also wasn’t good enough for them. One night the GSP basically dug out chunks of it and made it to where he had his own personal burrow.

Hope both are on HW monthly because those houses are mosquito magnets. Also concur that you should clean up that pig sty and block so it's off the ground.

I thought the young dog was a Billy Badass and driving the old one nuts. You said he'd join ISIS if you'd let him. Now he's letting grandpa steal his bones? WTF?
