Blackie
Brownie

I called my dog "hey" or "dog" for the first 6 months of his life. When they asked for his name I just gave them mine.

I've been naming my labs characters off
Lonesome Dove. My chocolate lab "Gus" is about to retire and I have a black male puppy named Deets

Male? If so Jack is always the correct answer, especially now in light of its popularity from Si.

My lab's name is Caddis no issues. My Uncle has one named Dan. It kinda sounds funny when he's calling it while hunting.
