It was. I dropped in the swamp in the way back to the house. Can't find it anywhere.

Just a PSA upper and lower with a rare breed trigger.

It was a great purchase.

Uuuummmmm, I'm betting you just made a "list". I may or may not know of another unit that they had to change the buffer to a slightly heavier one, jus sayin

The heavy buffers in full guns do run a little smoother. The light buffer in an 8.5 runs 600 rpm pretty consistently.

As for their list, it's somewhere in those swamp waters shown in the video right below that one.

I honestly think with better lube in the gun it would have run a little harder. But it was one round every .1 seconds when slowed down to 16x speed

There is some talk of them having some defects? Any issues with yours? How many rounds through it?

i had one until i lost it as well. Just so you know there is an inherent design flaw in it. the spring that pushed the trigger forward is as an odd angle and will stop working at some point, if you ever find it again. Just letting you know. there are youtube videos about it.

re: I made a sneaky AR purchase
The defects had to do with a previous design.

Just looking at it... I can see where you could have issues with "coil bind"

Before my unfortunate accident I had a few mags through it. Other than mentally having to force myself to keep firing after the burst surprised me... No hiccups.

I did put only wd40 on the trigger mechanism to force it to polish itself in. Trick I use with piston rings when tinkering on small engines. It's just enough lube to stop the initial binding... And not much else.

I would have switched to a high moly grease after a good cleaning and break in.

Looking online... There is a small beretta spring that is a little beefier which could replace the spring in the rarebreed.

Having said that, as delivered, there was no trigger slap and no runaway.

One trigger pull was one shot. Nothing more.
