I sold the death trap Shadow and bought an old Stratos 201 Pro and ordered Hydro Turf for the floors instead of carpet. Any of you guys have any tricks or tips for the install ? I didn't get the 3M backed because that would have been another 160.00 and I'm poor. Plan is to use Weldwood contact cement. Will I be able to wrap it around the lids or will I need to cut separate strips ?

Here is a shortened video of how to install a similar product. Looks like you can make it go around the lid edges.
If you like the idea, find the longer version of the video. It explains pretty well. I had considered doing it, but ended up buying a different boat instead that didn’t need it.

ETA: That’s a great hull. Enjoy it whatever you end up doing.

Cut strips and allow plenty of open time on your adhesive.

Care to elaborate ? I'm not experienced in this.

Let it sit before placing the floor so it can get tacky. Adhesive gets sticky as solvents evaporate.

3m 90 adhesive spray is what i used to lay hydroturf in my boat. but i bought the turf with the adhesive backing, so i’m not sure how the spray will adhere on the turf w/o the adhesive backing.
