Parents own 10 acres in Lafitte. All wooded area between the bridge and Joe's Landing. Is it legal to hunt deer or hogs here. Can't find the information online. Thinking of setting up some trail cams. Any info helps.

I use to hunt the Fleming’s Land. Nice area. Close to where ur talking about. We hunt Deer, Hogs, and Rabbits. Duck hunting use to be very good hunting. Last year wasn’t as good as it use to be.

Good amount of deer, only issue is they are small.

Hogs arent in that area as much anymore.

Rabbits are thick in that area.

The ducks sat on the back side of the Pen last season.

Squirrels are gone they are on the otherside of the bayou

Maybe not, but every single time I’m fishing down there we end up hearing hogs rooting.

Your parents have a camp or house on the land or is it vacant? If its been unused, I can guarantee you someone is hunting it.
