We moved into a new house last year, and the developer put down new sod. I've been fighting to get rid of the weeds since then. The image crabgrass killer is the best I've found. I would add a surfactant to it before you spray, that way it stays on the plant, try bonide.
For nutsedge image makes one you can spray on the yard, but you need to do it now while it is still cool, otherwise it will burn your yard. The best stuff I've found that works is Sedgehammer...it is pricey in the store but you can get on ebay lots cheaper.
