I could have limited out in Arkansas if i wanted to. But only shot a doe and a buck, while my daughter also shot a buck. Alot of missed opportunities during bow season too.

Louisiana, im just getting started but so far i only passed one so far. And he got shot 2 weeks ago by someone else

We talking does and bucks, or bucks only? If talking about just shooting a deer, I could have killed a lot. I don’t know a number, but there have only been a handful of times when I couldn’t have killed a deer. But most times it wasn’t the right deer, and I don’t like shooting does when I am trying to hunt a particular buck. I don’t really keep up with my hunts like I should, but I think I have seen 8 three year old or better bucks this season that I could have killed, and killed 3 of them. Two of them were 4 years old or better. One I regret, a 3 year old 8 point in bow season, but the other two were good deer. Unfortunately I have killed my 3 bucks in Alabama now and am done right as the rut is prime where I hunt. I will take the bow a few times and go doe hunting. And if I feel like fooling with one I may shoot one or two.

Only 1, probably would have messed up my vehicle, but I could have definitely gotten 1.

There were others, but Id probably have hit a tree first.

350!!!

Actually prolly 40-50 if I’m just counting deer I let live because I personally didn’t want to shoot them or my lease rules after I had killed my deer that I had killed .
The only reason we have that is because our lease and neighbors have all tried to keep making our properties better and better each year.

I remember in Alabama back in the nineteen sixties that if you killed a deer in a season you were considered a great hunter if you saw a half dozen in a season it was a good year.

Ah , different people have diff needs. I only need one good meat deer, or 2 if they are not big. After that i let all bucks go if not $ 500 taxi quality . Occasionally take a lesser one for euro, but rarely.
I don't shoot does with fawns.

Saw alot of deer here in southwest Georgia this year. Most I had at once was 12. Had numerous small bucks in front of me throughout the season. Saw two shooter bucks and only was able to harvest one.

Overall good season and ended up shooting 2 deer.

3 young bucks last week that I would have blasted on public land. A couple of barely legal bucks in Missouri. A few spikes, does, and other dinks in Mississippi. The one week of rifle hunting that I did was hot as all hell. I saw a lot of deer during bow season that weren't in range.

Passed on a real nice 8 opening morning, let him walk. Old man in the club, who’s stand is right next to mine, shot him, crippled him. We trailed him for 4 hours , and put the dog on it. Never saw that deer again, or on camera. Good deer, wished he would have killed it. Second guessed myself about shooting it a little bit with the end result, but that’s what happens when you have members stacked on members. Got to think you’ll never get that opportunity, again, or allow any age on them. It is what it is….

Thats a shame. If you do not have a good shot, pass on it

I’ve seen 4 shooter bucks this year. First one I saw, I killed so the rest get a pass. Need to kill 2 does to get my freezer full.

Total deer I could have killed if I shot every one I saw, 30-40 Counted 21 deer Sunday morning. Not sure how many I counted more than once.

I bow hunt only. I’ve passed on 15-20 legitimately easy shots. And of course the one I took I shot low due to a rest malfunction.
