Was wondering if anyone here was familiar with Home Run Charters? I was asked if I knew anything or was familiar with them & I am not, though I told then I'd inquire at a place with outstanding knowledge

TIA

Never used them personally, but I've heard good things. Majority of outfitters in venice are quality. We always go with Pittman with fish venice but that's personal preference after a terrible incident a few years ago. He's my captain until he quits.

They have run a solid operation for years down there I would have no problems using them.

The only caveat... A few years back if you googled cypress cove their ad popped up above the actual phone number to cypress cove. So I called them at a very early hour to inquire if they still had shrimp left. Well lets say deservedly so the guys old lady that I woke up didn't think too highly of me at 4 or so in the morning!

Fished with Pittman in June...really liked him. He said he’s getting out of offshore after this year....too many 40’ charters catching up all the fish..especially tuna

I've used them before. Their camps and boats are really nice. We caught some tuna. No clue about cost as a vendor paid for everything.

They are good. My cousins fish with them twice a year and I have friends who have used them. Woody is good Captain.

Have been wondering if the last two poor tuna years would see a decrease in the guide pressure down there. It seems like everybody is a tuna guide in that area these days. With snapper closing if the tuna bite stays slow I can't see how people will pay for a couple amberjacks and a few hours of trying to catch a swordfish.
