This is a non-profit organization that coordinates opportunities for veterans to go hunting. Do any of you guys have experience with this organization? I plan on trying to get involved this year, and was curious if any of you already are.
Great Article about them

No i'm not, I just want to get involved and help out. Maybe bring some vets hunting next year if I have empty spots in my blind

I have already contacted them about all that though.

I'm not positive. I think all vets, but disabled vets get priority. But again, that is just what I took from the information in the links above.

O, by the way, I added a few more links that I found

I did not attend, but have spoken with several people who did. They only killed one rabbit, but the Vets had an incredible time. They cooked four huge meals and even had a chili cook off for the vets and volunteers to enjoy for lunch the day of the hunt. These Vets had disabilities that did not affect their mobility too much.

I was told they had everything they could ever want to make a good hunt. Including a Ranger with a heater and $15k worth of other accessories to keep the Vets warm if needed. State parks even donated the cabins for the weekend.

The organization is top notch and provides a great service for men who deserve it more than anybody.

They hosted a rabbit hunt on the Ben Lilly Conservation Area adjacent to Chemin-A-Haut State Park near Bastrop last weekend.
