Has anyone ever bankfished Henderson levee? Im not looking for spots just want to know if anyone has ever fished for sac a lait there and if it's any good.

Haven't fished on that side but I've fished the levee on the ramah side and did decent on bass in the past

A lot of the Bank along the Henderson levee is private. Just be careful where you go.

I don’t know how good the fishing is, but I’ve seen people accessing the bank under the bridge from the levee. The water has to be low enough and I’m pretty sure it is. You can fish the bridge pilings, so you may find some sacs.

Go to Portage and put in on the bayou and fish the pilings. Beware of the banditos doe

From the other thread you started, I read this as the ramah side is the worst fishing ever and the other side is fire

LOL nah, I've had some decent trips to the ramah side. Back in the day I went and walked the levee while bass were bedding and caught a pile of them

you can access the levee on the north side of I-10 and fish the bar pits...look on google maps and you can see the pits...you can pull your vehicle over the levee where you see others have gone...

not at all...they are pits where dirt was removed to build the levee system...they are right inside the levee...

Be careful. I know the ones north of I-10 closer to Bayou Portage are private now. Big fines. We used to tear the fish up in there.
