I've been told that the reason Jarrett Lee has been riding the pine is he skipped practice for a duck hunt. Anyone else heard this? No links, no proof, don't go all rant-tard on me....

I know him and Chase Clement hunt together a lot. But I dont think he would miss a practice for it but could be true I guess

Friend who is loosely affiliated with athletics told me that. No way to be sure but it sounds better than low grades or poor performance at practice.
I caught 10 kinds of hell for getting off from bartending that game....was worth it for opening day.

Doesn't make sense. Fail a drug test, miss one game. Miss a practice, miss 4 games. Of course it doesn't make sense to go in for one play as a senior to take a knee or for 1 series on senior day, so oh well.
FWIW, Phil Robertson used to miss practice all the time while at Tech to duck hunt. Finally he quit and Bradshaw started.
