Nonetheless, didn't I tell this board this would happen. I said don't get caught up in the hype, nothing will come of it...it's all political posturing. Hell, some of you said legislation would be passed by Jan. 15th. Still nothing.
And I'm not mad at the failure of that legislation to pass. I'm mad at our short sighted and very dimwitted legislature. it was doomed from the start. I am rolling my eyes at most of y'all.

I don't really understand this. You call us out for name calling, yet you refer to our legislators as "dimwitted"? Pot, meet kettle. You are both black.
The legislature did what the people asked. Hell, Landrieu even voted for the gun control package and her state was against it by a LARGE majority.
Obama can spout off his "90%" statistic from his biased poll all he wants. If 90% wanted it, they should have been more vocal and stood up for it. Government worked the way it was supposed to today. And the majority of America disagrees with Obama, whether he likes it or not.

Obama wasn't the one that wrote the legislation. Thus, the name calling was simply out of spite/hate/whatever. It was needless and certainly not related to the outdoors.

Again, Senate doesn't equal Obama.
I disagreed with the legislation, I thought it was very short sighted and wasn't thought through. My comments are directed at a groups actions on the subject, not a needless attack.
