Has anyone actually seen 22 at walmart?

I know that stuff is super hard to come by but ive only even seen it but once. Ive at least seen 223,9mm,.45, etc on several occaisions.
I think that stuff gets pulled off the truck and hidden. Just MO.

I bought 3 bricks of it on Wednesday. It was the 525 Golden Bullets. $71
It didn't take me long to cave on REM Boycott
As far as getting pulled off the trucks or hidden. I agree. The 2 walmarts that I frequent for ammo have fired their Outdoor Mgrs in the last month for "inventory" issues.

Is the .22 shortage because the factories have re-tooled for the bigger (and higher profit) calibers? I heard the .22 shortage would be the last to ease due to this.

I've not seen ANY since the shortage hit. I discussed it w/ one of the sporting goods clerks at WM a month or so ago. She said our local WM was only being shipped about 10% of the usual amount of 22LR ammo. Where's the rest of it going??

I saw some of this 2 weeks ago at Siegen WM.
I have enough .22 LR that I maintained my boycott of Remington .22 ammo.

Employees are hiding it. Walmart is a waste of time for .22 until the panic eases.
