I agree. It's almost getting to the point its' not worth owning bass boat in South La any longer.

The are pulling out of more than just coastal Louisiana
Unless your north La rednecks call the basin and spillway coastal Louisiana

it says it clearly in the article coastal Louisiana. If people would read more than just the headlines.

Yay. We haven't had a coastal privacy thread in a while.

At least us rednecks will still have BASS tourneys where we can wear our huk gear and see where KVD fishes the first day and beat him to that spot the next day

There is a lot of water out there man, you just have to spend a little time looking at maps.
Join BHA. They are working hard to get some momentum. Expect BHA to bring a very level headed and logical approach to the 2019 session.

That’s the thing about this law
Most of the people on this very site that like the current law, argue they understand why Louisiana is one of the only states to have the law written how it is because of our unique coastal marshes.
Well, this law extends to parts of the state in which it isn’t a coastal marsh at all…..
One thing I agree with Alxtgr is at this point, it would be an absolute mess to try and change it now. IMHO Louisiana fricked this up a long time ago like they fricked up on almost every other decision they have ever made. At this point I really don’t know how to fix it, because taking land/water away from people who have already been granted it doesn’t sit well with me

its still south of 10. No one really cares about what goes on down there. Sportsmens paradise is still North LA and we don't have to trespass like you all do to catch an icechest full of 6" white perch (sacs for y'all) and 10" largemouth
Figured everyone down there hates BASS anyways since they promote catch and release

Can't wait for the 3rd circuit opinion in Crooks to drop. Should be any Wednesday now.
